List of Largest industrial greenhouse gas emitters

Largest industrial greenhouse gas emitters:– Greenhouse gas emissions from human activities support the greenhouse effect, causing climate change. Most CO2 gases come from burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gases.

The world’s largest emitters include coal in China and big oil and gas companies state-owned by OPEC and Russia.

However, the transportation sector generates the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions. It directly comes from the transportation sector, mainly from burning fossil fuels for our cars, trucks, ships, trains, and planes.

In this case, the five major emitting countries are the United States, the European Union, China, the Russian Federation, and Japan, which contributed two-thirds of the world’s historical CO2 emissions – using up around 37 percent of our global carbon budget.

According to a report, the five industry categories of paper, food, petroleum refineries, chemicals, and metal/mineral products contribute the most greenhouse gases.

That is because the use and combustion of fossil fuels are important to the various stages of manufacturing and industry processes.
